First voice lesson
In this illustrative first lesson, I would ask what you enjoy singing and where your voice feels less reliable. We would choose one short phrase as a starting point.

I would listen to your breathing and the shape of the phrase before suggesting any change. A small adjustment is easier to hear and keep than a long list of instructions.
We would explore a comfortable part of your range, then try the phrase again with a steadier breath. If a note feels strained, I would change the exercise rather than ask you to push through it.
I would make room for expression as well as technique. We could speak the words, notice what they mean, and sing them once more with that intention.
We would finish with one manageable practice idea. This is a design example, so a real teacher would replace this lesson outline with their own method and an actual class.
